Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
ASHP are a low maintenance and sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuel heating systems, utilising the heat energy in the air and converting it into usable energy to heat homes. The energy required to produce the necessary heat with an ASHP as compared to a conventional boiler is one in every four quarters, and the remaining three quarters are utilised in renewable energy such as water and air.

A typical gas or oil boiler is expected to work effectively and efficiently for 10-15 years, providing it has been serviced annually. An ASHP, however, can last for 15-25 years as they have far fewer moving parts with very little to break. And even the most efficient boiler cannot beat the heat pump for efficiency. Ventilation
Prana recuperators aid ventilation while also providing a sufficient amount of preheated outdoor air which is saturated in oxygen and natural ions. Air flows pass through a copper heat exchanger located inside the module, where warm exhaust air, which is removed from premises, heats up the fresh cold air that enters from the outside. In summer it cools the air down.

Prana utilises an innovative system of sensors to monitor, correct and control the airflow in any indoor environment. The sensors are capable of detecting changes to atmospheric pressure, temperatures, air quality, CO2 build up and humidity.
